 Chapter offers new Caregiving Program

Caring for a parent, spouse or friend in a home setting—ensuring a safe environment and providing even the most basic care—can be overwhelming.  With the its Family Caregiving program, the American Red Cross aims to extend a helping hand and foster a network of support for millions who find themselves in what can be a challenging but very necessary position.  Here in south Alabama, Family Caregiving is the newest addition to the Covington County Chapter’s programs dedicated to helping Covington and Conecuh Countians prevent, prepare for and respond to tragedy, disasters and emergencies.
